Bandido has been rising on the independent wrestling circuit over the past few months and has blown fans away with his Lucha Libre style. In addition to competing in the main event of All In, and in promotions such as PWG, Bandido and Flamita are the reigning PROGRESS Tag Team Champions. According to a new report from Cageside Seats, Bandido’s work has now caught the attention of key officials in WWE. The company is now said to be scouting Bandido and could end up signing him to a deal sooner rather than later. Although reports earlier this week claimed that Pentagon Jr. and Fenix won’t be going to WWE in 2019, the company could still be bringing in a new Luchador if Bandido does decide to come in.
Low Ki has been wrestling all over the world for numerous promotions over the years, but he is perhaps best known for his stints in Impact Wrestling. Low Ki has had four separate runs in TNA/Impact Wrestling over the course of his career, and he is a five-time X Division Champion. According to Wrestling Inc., Impact officials recently reached out to Low Ki and asked him about coming back to the promotion once again to work live events in New York City next month, but it was noted that Low Ki decided to turn down the offer. Although MLW wrestlers are allowed to compete on Impact, Low Ki is currently the world champion for the promotion and he reportedly declined Impact’s return offer out of loyalty to MLW.
As reported earlier this week, Fenix will likely remain an independent wrestler in 2019 along with his brother Pentagon Jr, but it is still possible that Kenny Omega could be joining WWE early next year. While Omega’s future in wrestling is unknown at the moment, fans will be able to see one dream match take place before the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion makes his decision: Kenny Omega vs. Fenix. They will be facing off at a Northeast Wrestling event at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York on November 9th of this year. This marks the first time that these two wrestling superstars have competed against each other, and given that Omega defeated Pentagon Jr at the All In event earlier this month, it seems safe to assume that Fenix is eager to get a win over Omega in order to avenge his brother’s loss.
