GRAN METALIK vs TONY NESE
Prior to the match, Buddy Murphy is asked about his upcoming Cruiserweight Championship match against Cedric Alexander at Super Show Down, and he says he almost beat Cedric in his hometown, so when he has tons of his own fans, he will certainly get the job done.
In the ring, Tony Nese starts off getting the better of his opponent with his strength but a major chop to the chest by Gran Metalik quickly changes things up, though Nese shows his own agility to avoid some offense and he follows that with a couple of quick kicks/
After being sent out of the ring, Nese fails to get back in as Metalik knocks him out, but with Metalik joining him on the outside the Premier Athlete makes him pay by flipping him face first onto the ring apron. Nese attempted a powerbomb on the apron after but instead eats a Superkick by Metalik but Nese then throws him into the barricade.
Metalik then attempted a moonsault but Nese caught him, yet he took too long being cocky and Metalik hit him with a DDT to put some distance between them. Once again Metalik rocks Nese with another strong strike to the chest, but a spinning heel kick from Nese sees the course of this match change once again.
With Nese on the ring apron, Metalik then leaped over the ropes and hit a hurricanrana from the apron to the floor in an incredibly impressive move. Metalik once again looks to go airborne and attempts a moonsault from the top rope to the outside, yet Nese blocks it with his feet.
Metalik managed to get in control again but then took too long himself as Nese flew over the top rope to take him out again before throwing him in the ring and hitting a 450, which Metalik only just managed to kick out of. Nese then looked for a running knee but only met a superkick and a Metalik Driver, yet this time it was Nese who kicked out, keeping this match alive.
Both men then scale the turnbuckle and Metalik hits a super hurricanrana from the ropes before dropping the elbow and picking up the victory in a very good match.
