Undisputed Era vs Team Ciampa: Second WarGames Match Set for NXT Takeover

WWE has officially confirmed a second WarGames match for the upcoming NXT Takeover special set to invade the Allstate Arena on Nov. 23.

On one side of the ring will be the entire Undisputed Era. All four members. The reigning NXT Champion Adam Cole, the NXT Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly, and of course the NXT North American Champion himself, the “Messiah of the Backbreaker” Roderick Strong.

Captaining the opposition will be the self-proclaimed “greatest sports-entertainer of all time” Tommaso Ciampa. The first two names recruited to his team are none other than the “Original Bro” Matt Riddle and Keith Lee, who have found each other as tag team partners on multiple occasions recently.

That last slot for Team Ciampa remains open. Could it be Johnny Gargano? That option seems more-and-more unlikely every day following a brutal attack at the hands of the returning Finn Balor last Wednesday. Could it be the enigmatic Velveteen Dream? We haven’t seen the Dream since losing the North American to Strong, so the opportunity is certainly there.

One name remains.
