According to the Wrestling Observer, Japanese wrestling promotions DDT Pro, STARDOM, and Dragon Gate will be resuming live shows with an audience this coming week. Reports are that the recent meetings between government officials and Coronavirus experts determined that the virus has been limited to only a few certain parts of Japan. While large gatherings are still not encouraged, the belief is that schools will be reopened an sports/entertainment will be able to resume shortly.
Dragon Gate is set to run an event on Sunday from Kobe, while STARDOM will hold a show from the historic Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on Tuesday. No word yet from the country’s biggest wrestling promotion, NJPW. They were hoping to resume action on March 31st but an announcement has yet to be made.
