It looks like the Wild Card Rule will be in effect once again at tonight’s WWE SmackDown Live television taping.
PWInsider.com is reporting that RAW Superstar Drew McIntyre is currently backstage at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island, the site of tonight’s WWE SmackDown Live, and will reportedly be appearing on the show.
According to the report, McIntyre will appear on tonight’s blue-brand post-WWE Money In The Bank show per the aforementioned Wild Card Rule, likely with Shane McMahon to continue the feud with Roman Reigns.
As noted, “The Big Dog,” who faces Elias on tonight’s WWE SmackDown Live show in a rematch from this past Sunday night’s WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view, has been announced as Shane McMahon’s opponent for the WWE Super Show-Down 2019 special on June 7th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
There is no word yet regarding other RAW Superstars appearing under the Wild Card Rule on tonight’s show, however it is believed that others will be turning up, likely for the new WWE 24/7 Championship, throughout the program.
