As noted earlier today, WWE announced that Simon Gotch of The Vaudevillains has been released from the company this week.
According to reports, it was actually Gotch himself who requested to be released from WWE and at some point this week, the two sides came to terms regarding their parting of the ways.
As of this writing, Aiden English, the other member of The Vaudevillains tag-team, is currently without a “spot” in the company, as WWE executives and the creative team have yet to come up with a new direction for the man who held the NXT World Tag-Team Titles alongside Gotch during their ascension through the ranks in WWE’s developmental brand.
Gotch took to social media shortly after the news of his WWE release became public on Wednesday, informing bookers and promoters that he is taking requests for wrestling events, interviews and appearances, and is also interested in launching his own merchandise store via ProWrestlingTees.com. Gotch wrote the following on his official Twitter page, which has been changed to the name “Simon (TBD),” pointing out where those interested in booking him can contact him.
“All wrestling, interview, appearance, etc. offers may be made to this email [email protected].”
