The Senegal international, who had been with the club since 2019, was under contract until the end of next season.

The 25-year-old has made 13 league appearances this season, having featured in the club’s past two campaigns in the top flight.
He had offers from Ponferradina in Spain and Yeni Malatyaspor in Turkey last summer, which were turned down by the club.
Now, with Nîmes looking to alleviate their wage ball ahead of their hearing with French football’s financial watchdog, the DNCG, they have decided to part ways with the midfielder.
