Rhea Ripley made an appearance on Raw tonight, challenging Charlotte Flair to a match at WrestleMania 36.
After saying she needed more time to think about her WrestleMania opponent last week, Charlotte appeared on Raw this week and started to talk about who she should challenge after winning this year’s Royal Rumble match. She mentioned that she is a ten time champion, and has also defeated both Raw Women’s champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown women’s champion Bayley in the past.
NXT champion Rhea Ripley then came out. She told Charlotte that there is one person she hasn’t beaten, and that is herself. She also mentioned that she is the one that has a win over Flair. Ripley then issued the challenge for WrestleMania.
Charlotte didn’t answer her, leaving the ring.
The two, representing NXT (Ripley) and Raw (Charlotte), faced off at Survivor Series in an elimination match that also featured a team from SmackDown. While Charlotte was eliminated by SmackDown’s Lacey Evans, NXT won the match with Candice LeRae, Io Shirai and Ripley surviving.
