Rennes have this evening begun the process of pulling off a transfer mini-coup after agreeing a fee with Lyon to sign French attacker Martin Terrier.

As reported by RMC, L’Équipe and Ouest-France, the two clubs have a verbal agreement over a €15m including bonuses fee.

The deal is expected to be official this weekend – the player was a priority for Rennes’ new Sporting Director Florian Maurice, who recently left his position as Head of Recruitment at OL.
