Even foreign leaders are buzzing about Prince Harry’s love life.
On day two of the prince’s tour of the Caribbean, Harry faced an awkward moment when the Prime Minister of Antigua encouraged him to spend his honeymoon on the island. There’s just one foil to that plan: Prince Harry and his American actress girlfriend Meghan Markle aren’t engaged—in fact, news of their relationship just broke a few weeks ago.
“I am told that there may be a new princess and I just want to say that should you make the decision to honeymoon–then Antigua and Barbuda want to welcome you,” the PM told the crowd at an event on Monday evening. We must say, he really sold the locale. “We have been voted consistently as the best honeymoon destination in the Caribbean–and one of the best in the world–so there will be nowhere in the world as special to spend your honeymoon, when that day arrives.”

Obviously, our fingers are crossed in favor of a fairy tale ending for the couple, but it seems the Prime Minister’s sentiment may have put the royal on the spot (plus, there were 300 people there monitoring Harry’s reaction—eek!). Reportedly, the invite elicited a wince and an avoidance of eye contact from Prince Harry—same, Harry, saaame.
