As reported by Ouest France, in speaking with the Sporting Lisbon club website, former PSG forward Pablo Sarabia (29) discussed his departure from Paris, explaining he didn’t have “a good feeling” with coach Mauricio Pochettino, while talking about the difference in atmosphere at the two clubs. Sarabia mirrored fellow former PSG player Thomas Meunier’s assertion that his new side are “very far from bling-bling.” The Spanish international explained:
“At PSG, there are many stars. Here at Sporting, I found a family. The mentality is great too, we are very far from bling-bling… The mentality in Paris was all football, there was a good understanding between us… it was more competitive than personal. Here the coach talks about the team, it’s a virtue, everything is done with this mentality. No one stands out from the others.”
