Featuring heavily patterned items and vibrant colours, drawing
inspiration from Riviera glamour, the collection includes tailored swim
shorts with small, tightly-formatted geometric pattern detailing from the
Emilio Pucci archives, dating back to the 1960’s and 70’s, as well as
classic Orlebar Brown Bulldog, mid-length swim shorts for men and Whippet
shorts for women.
The collection also includes a line of sporty long-sleeved rash guards
for men and women, featuring the same iconic prints. All pieces feature the
swimwear brand’s signature details, tailored cut, zip front closure, back
darts and zip back pocket.
Commenting on the collaboration, Adam Brown, founder of Orlebar Brown,
said: “Some prints date. A Pucci print never does. In fact, this
collaboration is very much of the moment – print has moved from being
quintessentially a female staple to becoming an accepted part of the
stylish man’s wardrobe. We’re delighted to continue to play our part in
that transformation and to push the boundaries within men’s fashion.”
Laudomia Pucci, CEO of Emilio Pucci, added: “My father was the first
designer to do resort wear, but a lot of people don’t realise that he had a
great menswear following in this category back in the 1970s. It’s a perfect
time for us to return to that sunny men’s segment and we’ve found the
perfect partner in Orlebar Brown. They are just as obsessed with colour,
fit and quality as we are.”
The collection is available from both brands’ e-commerce sites and in
stores worldwide, and prices start from 195 pounds.
