One of the much talked about deals of transfer deadline day is officially a done deal. Olivier Giroud has signed for Chelsea, on an 18 month contract with a one year optional contract extension for an €18.5m fee.
The 31 year-old French striker has scored 4 times in 16 appearances this season for the Gunners, with Chelsea looking to add an experienced target man to their squad, so as to take some pressure off striker Alvaro Morata, in their bid to secure a top four place in the Premier League this season.
