Speaking to L’Équipe today, France defender Laurent Koscielny was asked to comment on some of EURO 2016’s most dangerous attackers. Highlights.

On Zlatan Ibrahimovic:

I have only played against him once several years ago when he was at AC Milan. But I have watched him every weekend with PSG. He is the great striker whose influence is greater than just in terms of the attacking play. He can make the team win with one action. He is capable of scoring incredible goals.

On Romelu Lukaku:

He is a young attacker who is very strong, very powerful. He is difficult to mark because he uses his body well and that of the defender to turn when he has his back to goal. He is different to Kane and Pellè in the sense that he does not like to go deep. However, he touches the ball more. He takes off enormously for that reason.

On Harry Kane:

He is the attacker who has progressed the most in the last two seasons with Tottenham. He is difficult to defend against because he is able to come from deep or to play on the counter, he is good with his head but also able with his feet, he has become very technical.

Sometimes, he scores crazy goals! He attempts incredible shots… He is a killer in front of goal. He needs to score, all the time, you can see it on his face.

On Olivier Giroud:

Olive is very good with his head, with combination play, with counters. Everything that comes from dead-ball situations, with him, he is the source of danger for the opposition. It is true that he had a difficult season with our club but, with Les Bleus, he has always scored.

On Antoine Griezmann:

Ah my Grizou! Honestly, phenomenal this year. I like the player and the guy. He is a good friend. He went to the next level when he went to Atletico and yet another with the French national team. He has his head on his shoulders.

His strong point? His left foot. Aside from that, he is quick, even if it does not look like it… And, now, he is even capable of scoring with his head!
