Countless people involved in the wrestling industry have shared an outpouring of love for Roman Reigns following his announcement, with major names such as Ric Flair and John Cena showing their respect to him.

As well as the bigger names in the wrestling world, smaller independent wrestlers including Connor Braxton have also shared their thoughts, with Braxton, in particular, telling a lovely story about Roman.

Braxton, who trained at Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Wrestling shared a story about when he was preparing for his first ever match, revealing that he didn’t have any wrestling boots.

Having no money to his name and not enough connections, Braxton reached out to Rollins himself to see if he knew of anybody selling wrestling boots, with Rollins replying with the name of Roman Reigns.

Braxton at the time didn’t have enough money to buy the boots from Reigns, and instead, Roman asked if he was a good brother and simply gifted him the wrestling boots, asking only that he does the same for someone else down the line. Another story, simply showing the kindness and heart that Roman as brought to the industry.

You’re a good brother, Roman. You’ll beat this ✊🏽 #BelieveThat pic.twitter.com/IbZ5JrTXRK
