One of the most interesting individuals in wrestling today is Chris Jericho. In addition to his podcasting and music career, Jericho has the unique ability to perform for any wrestling company that he chooses. Only a few days after competing at WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble show, Jericho returned to New Japan Pro Wrestling to begin a feud with Tetsuya Naito. Interestingly enough, PWInsider reported earlier today that Jericho is currently in London, which just so happens to be where tonight’s Smackdown show is taking place. Could Jericho be making a surprise appearance during tonight’s episode of Smackdown? Fans will be able to find out during the show later on tonight.
The drama between John Cena and Nikki Bella continues. It was surprising to see Cena confess that he wants to get back together with Nikki, marry her, and have children with her on the Today Show yesterday. Bella later said that she had hope that the relationship between herself and Cena would be able to continue. Cena appeared on the Today Show once again earlier today and addressed his comments from the previous day, as well as Nikki’s response. Cena stated that all he wants is for Nikki to hear what he is trying to say to her. Nikki Bella is now scheduled to appear on the Today Show this Thursday. With Total Bellas premiering on E! this Sunday, it will be interesting to see what happens with Cena and Bella in the future.
Rich Swann instantly became one of the most popular face in WWE’s cruiserweight division when it originally launched. Swann won the Cruiserweight Championship on the very first episode of 205 Live, but unfortunately, WWE and Swann parted ways earlier this year. Although Swann initially said that he would be retiring from the ring, he has since gone back to competing on the independent wrestling circuit. It didn’t take long for Swann to find work elsewhere because Impact Wrestling has just announced that Swann will be competing at theirTV tapings on June 1st and 2nd at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. Swann’s wife, Su Yung also currently works for Impact.
