Update on which brand may get the Elimination Chamber PPV
It was previously reported that the Elimination Chamber PPV would end up designated to the Blue Brand, however it now appears as though it will be a Raw PPV. Elimination Chamber is scheduled to be hosted by the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix on February 12th, with SmackDown’s Fastlane PPV following it on on March 5 from the BMO Harris Center in Milwaukee.
WWE had already considered dropping the number of PPV’s next year from 19 to 16, fearing over-saturation of the market. However, the company seems to have settled on 18 PPV events in 2017.

Former ECW, WCW and WWE Superstar The Sandman recently sat down with Jan Murphy of The Whig to discuss his often infamous in-ring career and character;
“Dude, that character is me. I used to sit in the locker room, smoke cigarettes and drink beer and then go out and wrestle. Wrestlers are characters, but my character, everybody’s walked into a bar, seen a guy just like me playing a game of pool, wants to play it for money and when he loses, wants to begina fight, you know what I mean> Everybody knows a Sandman.”
