On July 7th in Naperville, IL the RISE women’s wrestling promotion will partner with Impact Wrestling to present RISE of the Knockouts, live on Twitch!
Today it was announced that Su Yung will defend the Knockouts Championship at this historic co-produced event, and that her opponent would be none other than UK’s own Saraya Knight! Sweet Saraya is a 25-year veteran, a former SHIMMER Champion, and was rated the #1 women’s wrestler in the world by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2013. She is also known for being the mother of WWE Superstar Paige.
Also on the card, the first ever Guardians of RISE Tag Team Champions will be crowned in a Four Corners Elimination Match. The four competing teams will be decided at RISE 8 on June 29th through a series of tag team qualifying matches. Tessa Blanchard will also be in action against former Stardom superstar and Chicago’s own Kris Wolf.
