The first episode of Friday Night Smackdown on FOX just got a whole lot bigger.

Brock Lesnar, who has not been seen since losing the Universal Championship to Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, shocked everyone this Tuesday night in Atlanta, marching to the ring on Smackdown Live and issuing a monstrous challenge.

The “Beast Incarnate” wants the WWE Championship, and he has demanded to face Kofi Kingston for the title on October 4 when the blue brand arrives on FOX for the first time in history. That will be an absolutely stacked night, and could have major implications for the future with the Draft looming just one week later.

Being a fighting champion, the New Day member accepted the challenge almost immediately, but fell prey to a lighting-quick F5 from Lesnar before he even had time to reflect on that decision.
