In a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Mixed Match Challenge Finals scheduled for TLC was discussed as likely being kept very short and more of a comedic dance break.
R-Truth & Carmella are favored to win the match and the stipulation is that the winners will get The #30 spot in their respective Royal Rumble Matches. No matter who wins, given the competitors in The MMC Finals, The #30 spots are going to be anti-climactic so one scenario that was brought up is that Carmella could still get The #30 spot but as previously reported, instead of R-Truth coming out last (as expected) in The Men’s Rumble, WWE would swerve the audience by putting a “big surprise” in there instead.
