Alicia Keys and her hip-hop producer husband Swizz Beatz are celebrating 7 years of marriage today! The couple, who share two sons together—Egypt, 6, and Genesis, 2—first met in their teens, though their romantic relationship didn’t blossom until years later.
Naturally, Keys couldn’t help but celebrate her anniversary with her Instagram followers. “@therealswizzz We’ve been married for 7 years today and I’m like **SO excited!!!!!” Keys began her post.
Being the acclaimed songwriter she is, the “Fallin’” singer’s social media message got pretty poetic. “We’re even more in love, more full of potential and more excited about our future. We look at each other with the wonder of a child and I’m in awe of us everyday!” she wrote to her husband.
