As seen tonight on Smackdown Live, we finally heard the announcement that we have been waiting for, and Daniel Bryan’s return match. Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan challenged Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens to a tag team match against himself and WWE Smackdown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon.
Bryan added a stipulation to the match, which affects the livelihood of Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, due to their being fired last week on Smackdown Live. Bryan stated that if he & Shane McMahon win their match at WrestleMania, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens will remain fired. However, if Owens & Zayn win their match, they will be reinstated to come back to Smackdown Live.
Of course, this will be Daniel Bryan’s first match back in nearly 3 years, and Bryan showed his intensity in a promo tonight, showing that he is indeed back.
