— Rest assure Mike Knox fans, word has it that he will be making his long-awaited return to ECW in the near future. They’re trying to re-package him. Knox was backstage at this past Tuesday’s ECW/Smackdown taping in New Orleans. He currently has the longest active streak of available WWE stars not wrestling on television. He hasn’t wrestled on television since February. He lost to CM Punk in a short match. In fact, that was his lone television appearance this year.
— WWE’s Triumph and Tragedy of World Class Championship Wrestling two DVD set has been pushed up to a release date of 8/7. It was originally scheduled to be released in late September.
— Festus and Jesse are down in Ohio Valley Wrestling fine-tuning their new gimmick. No word yet on when they’ll be making their in-ring debuts for WWE. In the meantime, vignettes counting down their forthcoming debuts will continue to air on SmackDown.
