– WWE will tape this week’s SmackDown tonight from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The show will feature an appearance from WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, who will announce the new General Manager of SmackDown. John Cena, Triple H and John Laurinaitis are all advertised for the show.
– As reported earlier this week, Ric Flair’s daughter Ashley recently moved to Tampa, Florida to begin training at WWE developmental. Prior to the move, she had been training with George South in Charlotte, North Carolina. South also trained Richie Steamboat prior to his training at FCW.
– WWE sources have informed us that Brock Lesnar’s upcoming match against Triple H against SummerSlam will be a one-shot deal with no plans of a rematch.
While anything can change between now and SummerSlam (especially with Lesnar’s volatile relationship with WWE), Lesnar is scheduled to go over and get his heat back after losing his return match to John Cena at Extreme Rules.
