— Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced earlier today that at the request of the District Attorney’s office, they have opened an investigation into the death of Brian Christopher Lawler who passed away after a suicide attempt in his jail cell.
— In one of the darkest days of pro wrestling, a fourth death related to the industry occurred today as Tracey Caddell, a former wrestler and promoter, passed away as well. Caddell was one of the founding members of the OMEGA promotion, which helped kickstart the careers of such stars as Matt Hardy and Shane “Hurricane” Helms. He was the father of current Impact star Trevor Lee.
