— Ric Flair’s WWE legends contract is set to expire at the end of this year, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and as of this week, Flair had no agreed to any sort of extension or new agreement with the company. Flair’s merchandise is going to be pulled from Pro Wrestling Tees after 1/13, which fueled some speculation that he had come to terms with WWE, but that is not the case as the merchandise getting yanked was a strategic business move done by his team. As far as his future in wrestling goes, Flair is good friends with Tony Khan and even invited Khan to his wedding but WWE is expected to make him a significant offer to stay as Flair is someone that the promotion doesn’t want on Dynamite.
