Headlined by a two-ring War Games match, MLW came to the War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Thursday for a night of television tapings.

– Ricky Martinez (w/ Salina De La Renta) defeated Jake St. Patrick

Martinez won with a flying codebreaker.

– De La Renta interrupted an in-ring promo segment with Konnan and MLW Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers. She offered Pentagon Jr. and Fenix new contracts, but they ripped them up.

– The New Hart Foundation (Davey Boy Smith Jr., Teddy Hart & Brian Pillman Jr.) defeated The Stud Stable (The Dirty Blondes & Mike Parrow) w/ Colonel Robert Parker

Smith hit a running powerslam to end it. The Stud Stable attacked Parrow after the match and left him laying.

– Jimmy Yuta defeated El Hijo De LA Park (w/ Salina De La Renta)

Yuta hit a reverse DDT to win it.

– Jason Cade (w/ Rhett Giddins) defeated Myron Reed

Cade used his Black Magic backslide driver to win a good match. Jimmy Yuta then ran in to drop Cade.

– PCO vs. Brody King ended in a double DQ when both shoved the referee down

They had a post-match brawl, with PCO hitting a moonsault to the outside on King and referees.

– MLW Middleweight Champion MJF & Aria Blake defeated Joey Ryan & Taya Valkyrie

MJF scored the pin with a roll-up. Joey Janela tried to jump MJF at the entrance way following the match but wasn’t able to.

– Brian Pillman Jr. (w/ Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Teddy Hart) defeated Vandal Ortagun

Pillman Jr’s first singles match in MLW saw him win with his version of a swinging neckbreaker.

– LA Park (w/ Salina De La Renta) defeated Pentagon Jr. (w/ Konnan) in a Mexican Death Match

Absolute mayhem. They used trash cans, chairs, tables, chains, fire, and the crowd was in to this more than anything on the show. The referee was temporarily incapacitated after a fire ball in his direction, which allowed a low blow by LA Park to steal the win.

Park had words for The Lucha Brothers after the match and said he wants to take their titles.

– Simon Gotch (w/ “Filthy” Tom Lawlor) defeated Gangrel by DQ in a $2,000 open challenge match

– Davey Boy Smith Jr. defeated ACH

Smith Jr. had them ask us to stand for the Canadian national anthem, which got a negative reaction before ACH made his way to the ring. They had a back-and-forth match that had plenty of time to develop. Smith won with his running powerslam.

– “Filthy” Tom Lawlor defeated Joey Janela via DQ

James Storm hit Lawlor with a beer bottle to cause the DQ as Lawlor and Janela were having a physical match.

– Teddy Hart (w/ Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Brian Pillman Jr.) defeated Rich Swann

The crowd adored Hart in Fort Lauderdale. The match built up well with Swann fighting off Hart and worrying about the two at ringside. This had all the incredible action you’d expect from these two with moonsaults, splashes, and Swann even applying the Sharpshooter to an angry reaction from the crowd.

Hart won with an avalanche Canadian Destroyer and a double knees backbreaker.

– James Storm defeated an enhancement wrestler

Storm won fast.

– MLW Champion Low Ki (w/ Salina De La Renta) defeated Fenix (w/ Konnan) to retain his title

The fans were firmly behind Fenix. Ki beat him down relentlessly before Fenix made his comeback. Fenix displayed incredible rope walking and jumping whenever he had the advantage. A huge dive to the outside had Fenix end up in the front row over the barricade.

When it seemed like Fenix had the match won, De La Renta grabbed his mask off his face. As Fenix covered up, it allowed Ki to hit a top rope stomp to retain.

– Kotto Brazil, John Hennigan, Tommy Dreamer, Barrington Hughes & Shane Strickland defeated Sawyer Fulton, Leon Scott, Sami Callihan, Jimmy Havoc & Abyss in a War Games match

Brazil started against Fulton. The story of this match was that Callihan took out Strickland before he could even enter the cage, which gave the Death Machines a five-on-four advantage throughout. Dreamer’s entrance received a giant reaction and the “ECW” chants followed. Fulton was being choked out with barbed wire to end The Match Beyond as the team of four won even without Strickland.

Abyss and The Death Machines attacked Havoc and laid him out after the match as Abyss showed solidarity with Callihan, Scott, and Fulton.
