Katie Holmes gave shoutouts to two pop music icons with just one Instagram photo Sunday. And while the photo isn’t particularly glamorous, it sure is cute.
The ‘gram shows the 37-year-old actress taking a break from filming her new movie Coup D’etat in Georgia. With a shopping bag in hand, a fresh-faced free Holmes smiles goofily at the camera from a rural parking lot wearing a yellow sweatshirt with David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust on it. A pair of patterned harem capri pants, flip-flops, and an off-center topknot complete her uber casual look. “I woke up like this,” the caption reads (a nod to the lyrics from Beyoncé’s “Flawless”) and by the look of it, she means it quite literally.
In 2014 Holmes described her outlook on life after her divorce from Tom Cruise to People, saying “I don’t have any fear now, I don’t have a lot of rules for myself, and I don’t take myself that seriously.”

And she seems to be sticking to that motto. Just last week Holmes and her 10-year-old look-alike daughter Suri Cruise enjoyed an ultimate mother-daughter date night in New York City, taking in Finding Neverland on Broadway, followed by a spread of decadent desserts.
