What better way to ring in Madonna’s birthday than with a twerk fest circa 2016?
On Wednesday, Ariana Grande paid homage to Madge’s birthday with a clip that features their dance session from a very special performance last year.
In December, the two divas memorably went head to head, as they performed a sexy rendition of “Music” that had plenty of twerking, and even an intimate blazer removal during the Raising Malawi benefit concert.
Eight months later, the “Into You” songstress proved that the good times with the “Material Girl” singer are never far from her mind, especially on the 59-year-old’s birthday, posting a video of their sexy backstage warm-up to Instagram. “Happy birthday to my queen and friend @madonna I adore you with all my heart forever,” she captioned the clip, which shows the dancing queens learning a new set that finishes off with some serious hip shaking.
