Plastic see-through goggles remind me of middle school anatomy classes and every pre-teen’s rite of passage: frog dissection.

For others, however, the oversized accessory is taking on a whole new meaning. L.A.-based contemporary label Brashy Studios is taking cues from brands like Chanel and Celine and hopping aboard the PVC trend. If you haven’t caught up, plastic rain hats and totally clear handbags are all the rage.

Their take? “Safety Eyewear,” as described on the website. From afar, the $25 glasses could double as just another material you’d need for scientific research. But now that we’ve taken another look, these are legit pretty damn cool. They’re large, and the complete opposite of that polarizing tiny-sunglasses trend. Can we expect to watch street style regulars pose in their safety goggles soon? Perhaps.

If you need inspiration as to how these can be worn, look no further than Brashy Studios’s Instagram feed.

In addition to the glasses, the label’s site also offered plenty of plastic and patent leather items that, without having touched them, we just know will be loud and clunky IRL.

As The Independent points out, Kaia Gerber and Bella Hadid are fans of the brand, so we can likely expect one of them to step out in the goggles eventually.

This only begs one question: Would you let your little sis borrow them for school?
