In an official statement, Ligue 1 side Lyon have confirmed that they have agreed to hold discussions about creating a taxi rank at heart of their new Parc OL stadium complex in a bid to prevent planned protest action from taxi drivers next weekend to prevent individuals from travelling to Lyon’s Ligue 1 encounter against Bordeaux.
Lyon met with individuals including Alain Audouard, President of the home of taxis in the Rhône area and Pascal Wilder, the President of the federation for independent taxis in the 69 region.
