Sources tell Get French Football News that Ligue 1 side Dijon are aiming to conclude an ambitious deadline day operation that would see them sign 20-year-old Lens attacking prospect Mounir Chouiar for around €8m including bonuses.

Chouiar had been in talks with Premier League clubs and Parma earlier on this transfer window and was absolutely insistent towards representatives of Lens over the weekend of his desire to move to Ligue 1.

For several weeks, DFCO, who are currently the only side to have yet to obtain a single point in Ligue 1 this season, had identified him as a replacement for Wesley Said, who joined Toulouse earlier this window for €8m.

Lens will in return land 21-year-old Guinean attacker Jules Keita on loan from Dijon with an option to buy believed to be around the €1m mark.

Time is ticking, but Dijon are confident.
