YOU’D LIKE TO think that you could slot over a kick at goal from 35m, but when there’s $10,000 riding on it and millions watching on TV at home, those legs are bound to get a little wobbly.
The weekly NRL Footy Show is one of Australia’s biggest sports shows on TV, and they have a regular feature Kick for Cash, where they pluck a member of their studio audience out to take a kick at goal for the chance to win $10,000 (€6,228). Essentially, it’s like a cooler Winning Streak.
And on Thursday night’s show, a lucky Dubliner found himself in line to win big.
Conor, who was even sporting a Terenure College jersey on the set, stood over the ball with a chance at scoring quite the jackpot.
Would he split the posts? Or did he have to settle for the $500 second prize?

Conor, if you’re watching, do get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
